I am one again delighted to be joining Ginny for her wonderful Wednesday Yarn Along (and here I am straggling in on Thursday . . .)
~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading, and the evidence
of this often shows up in my photographs. I love seeing what other
people are knitting and reading as well. So, what are you knitting or
crocheting right now? What are you reading? Take a photo and share it
either on your blog or on Flickr. Leave a link below to share your photo
with the rest of us! ~
I haven't had a chance to start any additional projects, so I am posting a photo of the early stages of the mystery birthday project that I mentioned in last week's Yarn Along post. In truth, I haven't been able to steal too many moments for knitting or reading this past week.
I've had Organized Simplicity
on my mental wish list since this time last year, and when it became available as a free Kindle download this week, I couldn't resist! I was too inspired by reading the introduction yesterday and decided to clean out the junk drawer in the kitchen and left more of a mess than I started with.

I don't knit, so excuse my ignorant question. Can you knit and read at the same time?
ReplyDeleteI got a Kindle for Christmas. Thanks so much for the link! I bought Organized Simplicity and I'm looking forward to reading it. Thanks!
Sarah - glad you were able to grab Organized Simplicity for your Kindle, too! I'm loving how it inspires me without making me feel guilty for all my organizational shortcomings up to now!
DeleteTo answer your question (not ignorant at all!), I can *sort of* read and knit at the same time: only if I don't need to be reading to closely (no nailbiter plots!) and only if I'm knitting something fairly simple. And even then, it is very SLOW going!
I'm impressed that you can read and knit at all... But perhaps it's more enjoyable to do knit and watch TV, for example.
DeleteI'm just starting Organized Simplicity. Thanks again for the tip. I have now bookmarked Kindle Daily Deal so I can pick up some more bargains!
